Sildenafil Citrate is an orally disintegrating tablet, which is an example of a drug with a molecular weight of approximately 2,000. It is used to treat erectile dysfunction and pulmonary arterial hypertension. The drug is not approved for use in children under the age of 8.
The tablets are also used for the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension, which is high blood pressure in the arteries of the lungs. It is not indicated for use in children under the age of 8.
The dosage of Sildenafil Citrate varies according to the severity of the condition it is intended for, the patient's age and the medical history. The drug can be taken with or without food, but a high-fat meal may delay its onset of action.

It is also important not to take the drug more than once every 24 hours. If you experience symptoms such as a sudden loss of balance or feeling dizzy, stop taking the drug and contact a doctor.
Do not take Sildenafil Citrate if you:
• are allergic to any ingredient in Sildenafil Citrate
• are pregnant or breastfeeding
• are allergic to any other drugs
• have or have had a heart condition
• have low blood pressure
• have low blood sugar or diabetes
• have liver problems
• have a history of heart attack or stroke
• have severe liver disease
• have active liver disease
• are taking medicines for HIV or AIDS
• are currently taking any other medicines listed in the package leaflet (e.g., nitrates, alpha-blockers, alpha-adrenergic antagonists, alpha-blockers, or alpha-blockers).
